MAJORHOST OUTBREAK COMMUNITY & SERVER RULES
Welcome to the Majorhost Outbreak community.
These rules apply to the website, forum, private messages, community chat and the Resident Evil Outbreak game servers.
Keep it simple: play fair, treat people normally and do not ruin the experience for others.
1. BE RESPECTFUL
Do not insult, threaten, harass or repeatedly provoke other players.
Disagreements are fine. Personal attacks and unnecessary drama are not.
2. NO POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS ARGUMENTS
This is a Resident Evil Outbreak gaming community, not a political forum.
Avoid political campaigns, ideological arguments and other discussions that are likely to create unnecessary conflict.
3. NO CHEATING
Do not use cheats, trainers, memory editors, modified statistics, packet manipulation or other tools that provide an unfair advantage.
Visual modifications, translation patches and normal emulator improvements are allowed as long as they do not affect gameplay or give an unfair advantage.
4. DO NOT DISRUPT GAMES
Do not deliberately ruin games for other players.
Examples include:
- Intentionally blocking progress
- Hiding or wasting important items
- Repeatedly attacking or sabotaging teammates
- Joining rooms only to cause problems
- Abusing bugs to make a scenario impossible to complete
- Deliberately disconnecting to ruin a session
Being new to the game or making a mistake is not a rule violation.
5. RESPECT ROOM SETTINGS
Read the room name, difficulty and any stated requirements before joining.
Hosts may request certain difficulties, playstyles or experience levels. Do not repeatedly join rooms where you clearly do not meet the stated requirements.
6. NO IMPERSONATION
Do not pretend to be another player, moderator, administrator, Majorhost staff member, obsrv.org staff member or Capcom representative.
Do not use misleading usernames or profiles to make people believe you have authority that you do not have.
7. NO SPAM, SCAMS OR UNSAFE LINKS
Do not post spam, scams, phishing links, malware or repeated advertisements.
Do not post links to pirated game downloads, ISO files, cracks or stolen software.
Majorhost does not provide copyrighted game files.
8. RESPECT PRIVACY
Do not publish another person's private information.
This includes private email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, home addresses, phone numbers or private conversations shared without permission.
Security problems should be reported privately to the administrator.
9. NO BAN EVASION
Do not create another account to avoid a warning, suspension or ban.
Accounts used for ban evasion may also be banned.
10. REPORT PROBLEMS PRIVATELY
Do not start public witch-hunts or arguments about another player.
When reporting someone, include:
- Player or account name
- Approximate date and time
- File #1 or File #2
- Room or scenario
- A clear description
- Screenshots or video when available
False reports or edited evidence may result in action against the reporter.

Questions about a moderation decision should be handled privately and calmly.
